VICE-CHANCELLOR, PROF. OLATUNJI-BELLO CONGRATULATES PROF. KAZEEM OSHIKOYA ON APPOINTMENT AS VICE-CHANCELLOR, FEDERAL UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, EPE, LAGOS STATE
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, has received with delight news of the appointment of a Professor of Child Health and Paediatric Clinical Pharmacology at the Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM), Ikeja, Prof. Kazeem Adeola Oshikoya, FNAMed, as the pioneer Vice-Chancellor of the newly established Federal University of Science and Technology, Epe, Lagos State.
Prof. Oshikoya, who once served as Acting Head of the Department of Pharmacology, Therapeutics, and Toxicology, Lagos State University College of Medicine (LASUCOM), was, until his appointment, a member of the LASUCOM Bulletin Editorial Committee.
While congratulating the distinguished scholar, Prof. Olatunji-Bello noted that the appointment is well deserved and a testament to his distinguished academic career, administrative experience, and commitment to scholarship.
The Vice-Chancellor expressed confidence that the new institution would benefit immensely from Prof. Oshikoya’s wealth of experience and leadership capacity as he assumes office as Vice-Chancellor.
She wishes him success in his new role and prays that God will grant him the wisdom, strength, and grace to lead the university to greater heights.
Prof. Oshikoya was inaugurated alongside other members of management of the new university on Wednesday 11th March 2026 by the Minister of Education, Dr Maruf Olatunji Alausa, in Abuja.
