CALL FOR PAPERS: LASU JOURNAL OF MULTIDISCIPLINARY NIGERIAN STUDIES (LASUJMNS) SEEKS SUBMISSIONS OF ARTICLES FOR THE THIRD EDITION (VOLUME 3 JUNE 2026)
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Lagos State University Journal of Multidisciplinary Nigerian Studies invites submissions from distinguished scholars for its Volume 3 (June 2026 edition).
2.0 ABOUT THE JOURNAL
The LASU Journal of Multidisciplinary Nigerian Studies is a peer-reviewed publication that accepts original articles across all disciplines of the University, including but not limited to: Arts and Humanities, Education, Environmental Management, Management Sciences, Law, Engineering, Social Sciences, Library and Information Science, Religions, Languages, Transport and Logistics, Mass Communication, Science, and other related fields.
3.0 AUTHOR’S GUIDELINES
i. Manuscripts must be prepared in English using Microsoft Word (MS). (Note that all papers should be submitted only in Microsoft Word format)
ii. Manuscripts should be typeset in Times New Roman, font size 12, double-line spacing on an A4 sized paper.
iii. Each paper must not exceed 6,000 words (including references). The abstract (not exceeding 200 words) should be typed single-spaced, and authors are required to provide three to five (3–5) keywords.
iv. Manuscripts should be named using the format: [FirstAuthorLastName]_[ShortTitle] (e.g., Adeyemi_MultidisciplinaryMedicalStudies)
v. References must conform to the 7th edition of the American Psychological Association (APA) style.
vi. Required Documents:
Authors must submit the following documents:
- Cover Letter
• Manuscript title
• Author names and affiliations
• Confirmation of originality and exclusivity
• Disclosure of conflicts of interest (if any) - Manuscript File (Complete anonymised manuscript in Microsoft Word format)
- Tables and Figures (if applicable) embedded within the manuscript and clearly labeled
- Supplementary Materials (if any) (Appendices, instruments, or supporting materials)
4.0 SUBMISSION PROCESS
All articles that have fully complied with the stated guidelines above should be submitted via the journal website or email. Journal website submission is highly recommended.
A. Submission via website

• Click “Make a Submission” and follow the prompts to submit your article.
B. Submission via E-mail
Authors who cannot access the website should submit via email.

• Attachments: Cover letter; Manuscript file, and any supplementary documents.

5.0 SUBMISSION DEADLINE
Manuscripts must be submitted on or before Sunday, 31st May 2026.
6.0 PUBLICATION FEES
All submissions must be accompanied by proof of payment of a non-refundable manuscript review fee of Five Thousand Naira (₦5,000) only.
If a paper is accepted following a double-blind peer review and meets all editorial requirements, the author(s) will be required to pay a publication fee of Thirty-Five Thousand Naira (₦35,000) only.
