LASU CONSULT HOLDS TWO-DAY TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR DIPLOMA AND CERTIFICATE PROGRAMME COORDINATORS

LASU Consult Limited has successfully organised a two-day training workshop for Coordinators of Diploma and Certificate Programmes across the University.
The workshop, with the theme “Transition from Manual Result Processing to Digital Systems” was held from Wednesday, 1st April to Thursday, 2nd April 2026, at the Senate Chamber, First Floor Babatunde Raji Fashola Senate Building, LASU Main Campus, Ojo, Lagos.
The training was specifically designed to equip Diploma and Certificate Programme Coordinators with the essential knowledge, practical guidelines, and tools required for a seamless transition from manual processes to efficient digital systems. Key focus areas included examination processing, result management, and academic profiling.


Declaring the workshop open, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Professor Oluwatoyin ENIKUOMEHIN, emphasised that Lagos State University, as a highly digitalised institution, remains committed to innovation and excellence. He noted that the transition from manual to digital processes in diploma programmes is both necessary and inevitable in sustaining institutional efficiency and global relevance.
In his remarks, the Director of LASU Consult Limited, Professor Ibrahim BAKARE, encouraged participants to be attentive and fully engaged throughout the sessions. He assured them that by the end of the workshop, they would be adequately onboarded and capable of navigating the digital platform with ease.


The technical sessions were facilitated by a Systems Analyst from the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (DICT), Dr Lolade DOSUNMU. One of the key sessions focused on course registration and result operations within the digital framework.
The workshop recorded active participation from members of LASU Consult and Coordinators of Diploma and Certificate Programmes across the University.
