The Vice-Chancellor, Lagos State University, Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola OLATUNJI-BELLO, mni, NPOM, on behalf of the Management and the entire university community, congratulates Professor Nosirudeen Olajide ONIBON on his appointment as Rector of the newly established Bola Ahmed TINUBU Federal Polytechnic, Abuja, Nigeria.
Professor ONIBON, a distinguished professor of Arabic Language and Literature, researcher and author, is renowned for his scholarly contributions to Islamic education and moral development.
The Vice-Chancellor appreciates the pivotal roles and invaluable contributions (academic and administrative) of the newly appointed Rector, Professor ONIBON, while he served as the Acting Provost of Michael Otedola College of Primary Education (MOCPED) and, also as the pioneer Deputy Vice-Chancellor at the Lagos State University of Education (LASUED), respectively.
Professor Olatunji-Bello, further notes that the prestigious appointment of Professor Nosirudeen Olajide ONIBON is a testament to his exceptional leadership, academic prowess, and unwavering commitment to excellence. She expresses her confidence in the wealth of experience and visionary approach of the appointee which she believes will undoubtedly propel the Polytechnic to greater heights.
